Charlene Hudson Mashia, CPA, is a speaker, author, and biblicalpreneur on a mission to help women step into their God-given purpose and build successful businesses that not only provide financial blessings and fulfillment of purpose, but that glorify Him. Her "BHAG" (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) is to raise up 100,000 successful, women-owned businesses that will give $1,000,000 each toward the advancement of the Kingdom. That would be a total of $100 billion for the Kingdom. Sounds wild? Good. It’s supposed to. A BHAG ain’t a BHAG if you can pull it off by yourself. This is a God-sized assignment—and for Him, it’s light work—ain't even break a sweat!
A former teen mom, Charlene is a straight-up boss who brings passion to everything she places her hands to. She holds advanced business degrees in accounting and taxation and moved through corporate spaces like Nike and Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) before launching her own tax and accounting firm. She is an ordained minister of the Gospel, and today, she uses her strategy, story, and sparkle to equip women to rise, rebuild, and receive everything God has with their name on it.

Hey, I'm Charlene Mashia
From gifted student to teen mother to college graduate to CPA to successful biblicalpreneur to ordained minister, who I am and who I have become was driven by where I found myself as a 16 year-old … young and pregnant! Society—and even those in the church—didn’t hesitate to call me “a baby having a baby." I was told that me and my child would never amount to anything, that I would never go to college, and would be on welfare the rest of my life.
However, despite everything spoken over me, God said, "Not so!" In the end, His plans for my life were far greater. (Jeremiah 29:11)

After reading the quote, “There’s a big world out there… go explore it,” Charlene was instantly bitten by the travel bug. A seed was planted, and later watered in college through Art History classes that sparked her desire to see the world’s most iconic places and masterpieces. Not long after graduation, a line from Tevin Campbell’s Confused—“Every night I dream of places I've never been to…”—ignited that dream for good, and her bucket list was born.
Charlene’s adventures include: riding a camel deep into the Sahara Desert; trekking through the Cinque Terre; marveling at the masterpieces of the Sistine Chapel in Rome, David in Florence, and the Last Supper in Milan; soaking in the volcanic hot springs in Iceland; shopping the souks of Marrakesh; riding a scenic train through the Swiss Alps; visiting museums in Mexico City; walking the cobblestone streets of Charleston, SC; exploring the Gothic Quarter in Barcelona; getting lost in Old Town Nice; wandering around Washington, DC; people‑watching in Paris; living it up in London; vibing in Venice; jamming in Jamaica; hula’ing in Hawaii; cat‑walking in Cannes; seeing the sunrise in Cabo and the sunset in Puerto Vallarta; dipping her toes in the Mediterranean Sea; strolling along the canals in Amsterdam; cruising through Alaska; observing the animal kingdom in Africa; gazing at the majesty of the Grand Canyon; beholding the beauty of the Taj Mahal; and taking New York City by storm—among many other unforgettable adventures—as she moves closer to her goal of visiting all 7 continents and all 50 states!
